Good Chinese food is so elusive in florida. Gave this place a try and I am pleasantly surprised. Fried rice, egg rolls and hot sour soup all delicious, cashew chicken, Szechuan chicken again fresh and tasty. Found my new weekly fix place! I get take out usually once a week delivered - do they occasionally mess up my order? Yes. Are some dishes better than others - yes. I prefer their beef dishes over their chicken but that is my personal preference. Overall this place is the best out of every other takeout joint in this immediate area (and I've tried them all) they're friendly, they're fast and I've never really had a bad meal. That being said if you are a Chinese food snob or are from San Francisco this probably isn't going to be up to your standards.

Used to frequent this place quite often until I got food poisoning one night. It's been over a year since I went back and have no intentions of going again.

update: I cant believe I did it, but I got big meal from them and got food poisoning // AGAIN 3 times out of the last 5, so that means you've got a 60% chance of spending the night in the bathroom vomiting when you eat here, no joke and no exaggeration they have never responded to this review, my phozne calls and I emailed them too, they don't care otherwise I would get an email or call or something good luck if you eat at Crazy Wok, because it's cray if you do after my warning I LOVED this place and now it's literally a health trap and they don't care ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crazy Wok was great for a long time, then the last couple of years has gone waaaaaaayyyyyyyy down hill... I've received meals that: - gave me food poisoning, twice - were burned - just tasted awful - were microwaved in the take out bag so severely that the styrofoam containers were melted through also, they keep jacking the prices it's really disappointing because they used to be so good and have a lot of variety on the menu and they are close and accessible for me, but it's over for us now... good luck Crazy Wok

Crazy Wok offers a great deal. I got a complete meal - honey garlic chicken, egg roll, wonton soup, and fried rice - for under $10. The service was quick. I was able to order and leave with my take out within 5-7 minutes - and that's during the dinner rush. Portion is also sizeable - more than enough for 1 person for a normal meal and possibly enough for 2. :-) I did not find the food salty at all. The restaurant is very clean - including the dining area, tables and chairs, and restroom - and comfortable - not too cold, not hot, just right. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Haven't had this place in a long time. I thought id give them another chance but this place just doesn't cut it for me. Food was a bit salty. Tasted old. Rice was a tad burned. Maybe an off night but I'll have to find another Chinese place next time the craving hits me. This place is forgettable.

This place is in the same plaza as target, which I frequent all the time since I live across the street....I never thought to give this place a try until i was on my way home and i was craving chinese food.....I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp fried rice...both were delicious, i love how they have fresh steamed vegetables mixed in with the bourbon chicken.....the food is good but a little pricey for the dinner combo(esp if you're substituting the pork fried rice for shrimp fried which is an extra $2.00!)

My favorite Chinese food takeout place. I have been ordering from here for about 10 years now and I still refuse to eat Chinese from anywhere else in the area. The chicken fried rice is always so amazing and cooked to order! The wonton soup is also the best compared to others and the chicken dishes are always cooked to perfection!

Hands down best Chinese restaurant I have had in a VERY long time!! My wife and I frequently order takeout from here and the food is ALWAYS hot and freshly prepared! The Orange chicken is AWESOME as is the honey garlic chicken ! Portions are excellent and value for the money is great!

Good food and extremely quick. Large portions. I usually go with chicken fried rice with extra chicken, can't finish a small order in one sitting.

Worst service ever. We placed an order over 2 hours ago and it never got delivered to us but we got charged for it.

Ordered here last Saturday for pick-up. First disappointment, they didn't have coconut shrimp so I ordered fantail shrimp. Food was ready quickly. When I got home I opened up the container and saw VERY dry overcooked sweet and sour chicken. I was very disappointed because I had higher hopes for this place. I was hungry so I TRIED to eat it but the chicken was so tough it was like chewing on rubber....yuck!!!! The fried rice was overcooked too. It had little burnt pieces of pork in it. The faintail shrimp was greasy. I will never order from here again!!! I will stick to Sun Yat on Wiles Road. That's our go to place for chinese food.

Pretty good food, nice portions and friendly staff. WAY better than the Panda Express that's in the same plaza. Combos are a great value!

Friendly service, prompt and cheap delivery, tasty food. The House Special fry rice is tasty but they do not always get it right! I also enjoy their Szechwan Chicken and Crab Rangoons. The Chicken Dumplings fried is also yummy.

This is amazing takeout Chinese food and i'm so happy it's right across the street. If you're in this area, you need to give this place a try. My favorite is the orange chicken and it's the best I've ever had. It's a great portion for the price, has the perfect amount of heat, and tastes fantastic. You can even choose if you want dark or white meat. I choose dark, white costs like $2 extra but I think the dark meat is meant for this dish. The white rice is always cooked perfectly and tastes great with the chicken. The egg rolls are the best as well. My girlfriend sampled a few other menu items and was really happy. The people are friendly, the place is clean and quick, and is located near the Target where the Mobil Station and Pollo Tropical is. Go here now!

The food here is really good. I haven't food a lot of good Chinese food spots in Florida but Crazy wok is 1 of the 2 that gets it right. The shrimp lo mein is good. They also make really good egg rolls and wonton soup.

I'm not a big Chinese food person, but this place is really great. The rice was very good, and the chicken was very tender. I'd never been there before tonight, and the restaurant itself is very clean and unique for a Chinese restaurant. Will definitely go back!

I have been eating here for over a year and the quality of the food is great. It reminds me of the great mandarin type dishes my grandfather from China would cook. I love their crazy fan tail shrimp and my husband is a hugh fan of the General's chicken. The pan fried dumpling are nicer than the steamed ones. Great, clean food. Excellent order, delivery and pick- up service. Good prices.

This is our go-to for take out Chinese locally. The offer a reasonable party package for families as well as a reward program for repeat business. The food is always warm and freshly made. Dishes like Sesame and Orange Chicken are well prepared. The kids love the Honey Garlic Chicken. Upgrade to the "house fried rice" when possible for a unique treat.

This place has been opened for a while but they recently re- did their decor and I guess the staff is also new. They were very nice and knew how to deal with customers. They even have have a charging area for your android phone at one of the tables while you wait. I always order the vege spring roll, which I feel is one of the best in Florida because ice tried a few of them. It is filled with cabbage, and the casing is very nice. I would recommend this place for the spring rolls. Continue the great work.

The spare ribs are the best. For an appetizer portion you get 6 large, meaty and moist ribs. The mongolian beef was good, just way too many onions. Hot and sour soup and wonton was very fresh and delicious.

Totally awesome Chinese- and we are very picky in regards to these places! Highly recommend the basics like house fried rice and the shrimp lo mien. The egg rolls and soup are nice comfort foods as well. Clean place, friendly staff!

I love this place! I have been coming here for years. One of the best Chinese food restaurant/take outs you are going to get in the area. Always fast and super friendly. The food is really good and you can't beat their prices.

This little hole in the wall mainly take-out place has recently become our go to place for a decent meal closer to home than to make the haul down to Lauderdale Lakes! We have had several meals right there and the flavor and quantity of the food served is really good and one does get a good bang for their buck here. The staff is very polite and helpful and seem appreciative whenever we dine there! They do a great take out business and that should be no surprise! We will definitely be back frequently! Keep up the good work!

Been dining here for about 8 years and never had a bad meal food is always fresh and tasty. Lunch and dinner combos are huge. Service is always friendly and quick and they do deliver. Very clean dining area I am sure you have been to some of take out Chinese places in strip malls and some of them are nasty but this place is spotless. My usual is the pork egg fu yung combo dinner it comes with fried rice, soup, an eggroll and brown gravy on the side all for less then 10 bucks and like I said you will not leave hungry the portions are really big.

I wish I could give it 2.5 stars but you can only do whole numbers. Granted, I played it safe by ordering shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon, but I feel like it's hard to mess those up. I ordered for delivery and the total was around $16! They charge $3 for delivery. You get 8 crab Rangoon but they are SO tiny! The flavor is good but too small in my opinion. The fried rice had a charred taste, but I was pleasantly surprised to find sprouts in the rice! Love those! Unfortunately I was only give 4 shrimp in the small order...BOO! The delivery was fast which was nice bc I was so hungry and putting my 4-month old to sleep. If I order again, I'll try orange chicken or something that may be a house special.

This is my "go to" for Chinese take out. Even though I have a dozen places much closer to home, it's worth the extra 10 minute drive. Food is always consistent, spiced perfectly, and hot. People are friendly and accommodating. Pricing is average and portions are generous. I can't vouch for all menu items as I tend to stick to my 4 favorites. Hunan chicken, Kung Pao, General Tso, and Crazy Combo. Never been disappointed here.

Great quality Chinese for a low price. I learned from their website that they promote a "...commitment to healthy diet, we only use pure corn oil sparingly and natural ingredients with no MSG. All of our cuisines are made from scratch each day in our kitchen", and its all true! The veggies even taste fresh which is impressive for quick take-out (I had my food 15 mins from the time I called). They also do a limited area of delivery. Unlike other chinese take out places I walked in and the place was clean and tidy, the people were friendly and the place seemed to have a steady flow of customers coming in to pick up food Overall very positive experience! I'll definitely be ordering again.

Have had Chinese delivery from here many times. I have never been disappointed. We tried several Chinese places in the area and this was definitely the best. A ton of food if you get the combo dinner meals. Two meals for sure. My wife turns them into three meals. I can say we have never had a bad meal from here. If you are looking for good Chinese for a good price an plenty if food, go here!

Crazy Wok is a small takeout place with about five or six tables. The food is good but nothing spectacular. They deliver so that is a huge plus. I have ordered from them so many times I know what is good and what to stay away from. The won ton soup is always good. The boneless ribs are always good. The orange chicken is hit or miss, sometimes crispy & other times very soggy. The Kung Po Chicken is okay. Fried rice is not consistent. Sometimes its bland & flavorless & other times its really very tasty. I found the lo-mein to be greasy. I do like the steamed chicken dumplings & the sweet soy sauce that comes with it. Not so crazy about any of the beef or seafood dishes. The General Tao's was much like the orange chicken, sometimes crispy & then other times soggy. The restaurant is very clean & the owners are very nice. This isn't my favorite Chinese takeout but it works when I want a hot bowl of delicious won ton soup & steamed chicken dumplings. Perfect dinner on a dreary rainy day.

I stopped by here the other day to try the place out. I got their Honey Garlic Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, chicken dumplings & egg rolls. I have to say I was impressed with the overall quality of their food. The chicken was white meat and with nice size chunks. The honey garlic sauce was on the side. The Pork Fried Rice was very tasty and had a lot of nice size pieces of egg, pork and veggie. It's the best I've had actually. The dumplings were very good and came with their own sauce. For some reason the egg rolls came a little soggy, but they still tasted very good. I ordered for take out and the food was ready very quickly. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would eat-in too as they had a nice atmosphere. I will definitely return to try their Sesame Chicken and get more Pork Fried Rice!

This is my new Go-To place for Chinese delivery. I've ordered from several Chinese places, and Crazy Wok beats them in ALL categories: 1.) Food quality: Excellent 2.) Delivery time: Fast (about 30 mins) 3.) Delivery dude: Not a weirdo, spoke English clearly, had no problem finding my apartment 4.) Pricing: Competitive, not over-priced 5.) Food containers: Solid, clean. No sloppiness or spillage 6.) Menu: Clear, lots of variety and printed on some higher quality paper. I don't expect to see it shoved in my door jam or under a windshield wiper anytime soon. But it WILL remain near the top of the stack in my "menus & chopsticks" drawer. Thank you Yelp, for helping me find this place.

Took out dinner from Crazy Wok last night. What a pleasant surpise! Food was delicious, generous and good value. We are used to iconic Chinese restaurants of NY and Miami, so were are very picky. Exceeded ou r expectations. Everything was yummy! Will definitely return.

The name of this restaurant is very appropriate as - in my humble and obviously 'subjective' opinion, you would have to be considered "crazy" to order food a second time. Specifics: Appetizer was literally burned, dry and basically inedible. Went straight into the garbage can following one bite which I did chew and did not swallow. Soup was not as described and included a small and petty amount of the defining ingredient. Soup was really a vegetable soup. Very very disappointing. Rice was the worst I have ever eaten - both in the mediocre and tasteless ingredients as well as the overall texture of the rice and the meager and tasteless ingredients. Main entree tasted only and completely of the sauce and was again... grossly overcooked and rubbery in texture. The only genuinely edible and quite tasty item I purchased was a vegetable dish which ironically was complimentary due to the total expenditure. I am an elderly person and have been enjoying asian cuisine for approximately 40 years. I have purchased asian take out hundreds - if not thousands of times. I was shocked and profoundly disappointed in the food I purchased and would advise that if you try Crazy Wok you experiment with a very conservative first order - just in case your experience results in a gigantic disappointment.

I recently moved to this area, and wanted to find a good Chinese place. I'd tried some other places and just wasn't impressed, so I gave this place a shot. I'm glad I did - this place makes some great, quality Chinese food! I've ordered the same thing both times - the honey garlic chicken combo, which comes with fried rice, choice of soup and an egg roll. The chicken is delicious - perfectly crispy (but not too much breading), all white meat, and they put the honey garlic sauce on the side so your food doesn't get soggy. The fried rice is excellent as well. It's so much food that I'm always too full for the soup, so it makes for a nice lunch the next day. If you decide to pick up your food, don't rely on google maps. This place is just south of the Mobil station, on the corner of Wiles and 441 (the Target shopping plaza).

Very fresh tasting Chinese food, not too greasy. The food always arrives hot and fast (30 min). They have never made a mistake on our orders. You can customize your dish as well. I like that they have such a wide variety of menu items. Classic Chinese dishes like General Tau's (excellent), along with twists such as Coconut Curry Chicken (which is steamed and soup like... good but different). However, this is not the greatest Chinese food I have had, so I must give it 3 stars. The prices are great. Note - I have only ordered delivery, I have no idea what the restaurant looks like. Takes orders til 10PM. Food items do contain MSG, but you can ask that they not include it. However it's impossible (I was told) to get it all out since other food was cooked in the pan with MSG.

I am very picky when it comes to chinese food and was very pleased with crazy wok! Delicious and reasonably priced. I lived a little far from the restaurant but they had no problem delivering to me. Will definitely order from here again!

Not happy at all... It's usually pretty good but tonight it was all off. Orders were wrong, rice was cold. Don't know if I'll come back or not.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
